Terms & Conditions

Bookings
Bookings can be made as far in advance as you wish.
A £50 deposit will secure your booking. 
Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Monies must be paid in full one month before the booking date.  If the booking is made within one month of the booking date then we require payment in full.

Our price advertised is our set price for the day and there is no VAT or  hidden charges. However if you require extras such as helium balloons or more than the complimentary bottle of champagne included in the wedding package then there would be an additional cost. If you are hiring both vehicles you will have 2 bottles of complimentary champagne.

We will send you out a full brochure which will include your booking contract form and Event Details to complete. As soon as we have this returned with £50 then you can be assured than your Wedding Date has been secured in our diary and that you have entered into a contract with us.
We promise than we will only do one wedding per day and that you will not feel rushed at any point.

For Event Bookings such as hen nights, parties, special occasions which are on an hourly basis then we require  a £30 deposit at time of  booking and payment in full one week  before event.

Changes to Bookings
We are happy to accept any changes to bookings  in relation to times and pick up/ drop off points.
We recognise that planning your event is very important and situations can change as plans are being made.
We try to be fully flexible and work closely with you to meet all your needs.

Booking Refusal
Cornwall Lve VW reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking should we find the hirer or anyone in the hirer’s party to be using anti-social behaviour, under the influence of drugs or using any type of bad language or violence.
We operate a professional service where we want our hirer’s  to have a wonderful experience but also to respect the vehicles being hired and our service.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made 4 weeks prior to the event.
The deposit is non refundable but you will not be charged any further costs if we  have 4 weeks notice.
Once monies have been made in full we will not offer any refunds within the final 4 week period on the run up to your hiring date.

Distance of Travel
Your wedding package includes 40 miles of driving, any miles over this will be charged at 40p per mile.

Damages
Should there be any damages or spillages to the vehicles by any persons who are hiring them then we reserve the right to charge a minimum of £100 if we have to professionally clean or repair the van or beetle.
In the event of body or paint damages to the vehicles due to negligence by the hirer or hirer’s party then the hirer will be liable for the full cost of all body repairs.

Adverse or Unforeseen Conditions
Cornwall Love VW cannot be held responsible for adverse weather conditions which may arise on your wedding day.
In the unforeseen instance that the van or beetle would suffer from mechanical breakdown then we will put our emergency plan into place in order to get you to your destination on time.
Should this unlikely event happen then we would give you a full refund. We can not be held responsible for mechanical failure but we would strive hard to ensure that your special day went as smoothly as possible.

We cannot be held responsible for unforseen traffic situations which may occur onroute and result in late arrivals.
We shall however ensure that we are very familiar with the route to your destination and alternative routes that could be taken should this happen.

Seatbelts
Due to the age of the VW Samba there are no seat belts in the rear, the front passenger seat has a lap belt.  We are not able to transport children under the age of 3yrs due to the law, however children over the age of 3yrs are permitted to ride in the back without a seatbelt.
We cannot be held responsible for any accidents which occur be it our fault or a third party.

No Smoking Policy
We operate a strict no smoking policy whilst in our Deluxe Samba Van or VW Cabriolet Beetle.

Loss of Belongings
We can not be held responsible for any loss of belongings whilst hiring the VW Van or Beetle. We do however clean the vehicles immediately after each hiring event and should any items be found then we would promise to contact you and arrange to have them returned at the first possible moment.

Photographs
We are happy for you to take as many photos as you wish with your party using our Classic VW Van or beetle.
We are also happy to make stops on route should you wish to take special photos.
Cornwall Love Vw will use photos of your special day  as promotional photos on their web site unless you state otherwise. Part of your contract will allow you to have this option.  

Other Information
Your chauffeur will carry an umbrella in the event of wet weather and will escort you to the door of your destination if required.
Your chauffeur will be dressed immaculately in a smart suit. Should you prefer a casual surfy image then this can also be arranged.
